Whiplash Facts
Every year, the ligaments in the necks of 2,000,000 people throughout the U.S. are over-extended, resulting in sprained or torn neck muscles. That over-extension frequently forces the upper neck vertebrae out of its normal position, and this causes further injuries throughout the body.
After testing in low-speed rear-end collisions, it has been reported that whiplash and other neck injuries can occur in accidents at only 5 MPH. The even worse news is that most accidents at only 6 to 12 MPH. The irony is those low of speeds are too low to do any vehicular damage, but they are enough to do damage to a person’s neck.
The truth is that whiplash does not require or a car or any other type of vehicle in order to occur. Here is a list of some everyday activities that be the cause of whiplash.

HOW CAN WE HELP?
Well, the first step is for you to make an appointment, so an upper cervical chiropractor can examine your upper neck vertebrae for any misalignment in your upper neck vertebrae. If there is a misalignment found in your upper neck, they will use a pain free procedure to realign those two vertebrae and prevent further symptoms of whiplash.
